With apologies to Shakespeare for his lenient
interpretation of Henry V: IV, iii,
UIDP President Bob Killoren reflected on the
inaugural meeting of the UIDP and
treated the membership to this verse:

UIDP Day
December 13, 2006
:

They who live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly say "To-morrow is UIDP Day":
Old one’s forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But we'll remember with advantages
What feats we did this day: then shall our names,
Be familiar as old household words
Killoren, Butts, Mayo, Peccei, Rosen,
Kauffmann, Witkin, Zukoski, Kramer, ’n Rhodes,
Be in their thoughts freshly remembered.
And UIDP Day shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers and sisters;
For you all here who share this day with me
Shall be my brother and sister anew;
And those across America now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold themselves cheap whiles any ‘ere speaks
Were with us here ’pon UIDP day.
