RTP Regional Assembly 2024 Event Materials

The RTP Regional Assembly in October 2024, hosted by UIDP and the University of North Carolina at Innovate Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC, convened over 50 professionals from universities, companies, government, and nonprofit entities to examine the state of innovative collaborations in the research triangle area and how key players can strengthen and modernize U-I partnerships to bolster their collaborations and benefit the region. UIDP secured 13 subject matter experts as presenters and speakers for the one-day event.

Attendees also engaged in a Global Cafe discussion session to brainstorm around the question: What must be done to strengthen and modernize university-industry partnerships to advance research and innovation that ultimately advances the human condition?  The ideas gathered during the session will help inform UIDP’s Strengthen and Modernize U-I Partnerships initiative.
