Feeding the Planet Sustainably

July 28, 2021 @ 11:00 am - July 29, 2021 @ 5:00 pm EDT

There is an urgent and critical need to establish an agricultural bioeconomy that is sustainable, productive, and resilient to change. Accordingly, the National Science Foundation (NSF) is coordinating efforts to develop partnerships to advance a new agriculture that can feed a changing planet sustainably. This invitation-only workshop will convene an interdisciplinary group of scientists from the public and private sectors to discuss how to achieve a new agriculture that will advance a coupled and sustainable agricultural bioeconomy. The workshop is intended to identify partnership strategies for how basic research can lead to innovations that support a new agricultural bioeconomy.

This workshop is by invitation only.

UIDP members say our conferences are a primary avenue to share approaches, collaborate while establishing important connections, and solve contemporary partnership challenges. UIDP relies on member organizations to provide host facilities and support in-person conferences. Most conference sites are secured years in advance.
