Webinar: University-Industry Collaboration Metrics

December 15, 2015 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST

This webinar is an opportunity for UIDP member representatives to hear the briefing the UCSD students gave during the project-breakout session at UIDP21 in Knoxville, TN.

UIDP’s Collaboration Scorecard Project is focused on identifying available data to evaluate the effectiveness of specific U-I collaborations with the goal of developing a scorecard for use in assessing the value of a collaboration. In order to better understand U-I metrics, the UIDP in conjunction with UCSD’s Advanced Professional Degree Consulting Club (APDCC) conducted a series of interviews to determine which metrics people use or wish they could use. The student leaders will present their findings and provide an overview of a way to visualize U-I collaboration metrics. Hear about the findings from interviews about U-I collaboration metrics and a way to visualize information about U-I collaborations.

UIDP members are encouraged to participate as UIDP continues to evaluate and develop a body of knowledge on university-industry collaboration metrics. To learn more about upcoming conference calls and meetings email info@uidp.net.

UIDP members say our conferences are a primary avenue to share approaches, collaborate while establishing important connections, and solve contemporary partnership challenges. UIDP relies on member organizations to provide host facilities and support in-person conferences. Most conference sites are secured years in advance.
