UIDP Webinar: From Research to Practice | How the Bayer–Purdue Coalition is Shaping Regenerative Agriculture

UIDP hosted an informative webinar on November 6 highlighting the Coalition for Sustainable and Regenerative Agriculture (CSRA), a recent collaboration between Bayer and Purdue University aimed at advancing regenerative agriculture on a global scale. The CSRA brings together academic, industry, and farming communities to develop science-based solutions that promote soil health, biodiversity, and long-term agricultural productivity.

Representatives from Bayer and Purdue shared the Coalition’s vision, key focus areas, and early initiatives. Attendees learned how the CSRA is leveraging Purdue’s research infrastructure and Bayer’s global innovation network to accelerate progress in areas such as climate-smart farming, soil carbon measurement, and sustainable crop management.

The webinar focused primarily on:

Coalition Overview & Vision: Learned about the structure, goals, and strategic priorities of the Coalition for Sustainable and Regenerative Agriculture.
Research & Innovation in Action: Explored how Purdue and Bayer are collaborating on field demonstrations, climate-smart farming, and soil health initiatives.
Engagement & Replication Opportunities: Discovered ways to get involved with the Coalition and learn how to replicate a similar collaborative model within your own partnerships.

This webinar was open to member and non-member representatives.
