This webinar highlighted the Fall 2026 Amazon Research Awards call for proposals, open through Nov. 11, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT, creating an opportunity for eligible academic and nonprofit researchers to pursue support for research aligned with Amazon’s current technical priorities.

Carissa Lundquist, Partnership & Operations Manager for Amazon Research Initiatives, provided an overview of the program and eligibility requirements. Awards are structured as unrestricted gifts to the recipient’s institution and may include Amazon Web Services credits. The program also connects recipients with Amazon researchers and opportunities for consultation, events, and training.
