The National Science Foundation (NSF) seeks to improve the nation’s capacity for economic growth and societal impact by providing powerful catalysts for industrial partnerships and collaborations with academia. GOALI (Grant Opportunities for Academic Liaison with Industry) is a type of research proposal at NSF that seeks to stimulate collaboration between academic research institutions and industry.

Dr. Prakash Balan, Program Director at the National Science Foundation with the Division of Industrial Innovation and Partnerships, will present about the NSF’s GOALI (Grant Opportunities for Academic Liaison with Industry) Program and how it can be a powerful vehicle to initiate academic-industry collaboration in any field in science and engineering supported by NSF.
